Hooray!
Thanks to the team at Goody PR for honoring my latest book, The Mistakes That Make Us: Cultivating a Culture of Learning and Innovation, in their 2023 Goody Business Book Awards as:
- Winner, Business: Problem Solving category
- Finalist, Leadership: Team Building category
As Liz Kelly Goody, founder of Goody PR and the Goody Business Book Awards, said to me:
“[Business Problem-Solving] was a very competitive category, and our judges loved how your book is helping others create a culture where it's ok to admit mistakes, learn from them, and then use the experience to propel you forward. Your crumpled paper book cover graphics with the pencil and eraser also speak volumes and catches your attention.”Â
I'd say I really love the cover, and I thank my childhood friend Don Coon for collaborating with me on such a creative and fitting cover. By the way, I did enter the cover in a separate book cover design contest, and we did not win that.
But I'm more happy about these wins.
Oh, and you can still enter to win a signed copy of the book as part of a set that includes ALL of my books.
