screen-shot-2016-09-27-at-9-03-40-amThanks to my friends at the ThedaCare Center for Healthcare Value for putting together this video with me, filmed at the last Lean Healthcare Transformation Summit (hope to see you there next June).

The video was a chance to talk about what's new in the 3rd edition of my book Lean Hospitals that was released in June. You can  now buy the book from the Center, along with other great books and videos.

I'm also looking forward to the 2017 version of the Center's European Summit, my first time attending this one:

3rd Lean Healthcare Transformation Summit – Europe

I will be doing the famed Deming “Red Bead Experiment” as a 75-minute learning session. And, I'll be doing a day-long workshop built around this that will let participants learn and practice methods related to Understanding Variation and the applications of statistical thinking to management metrics.
