Regular readers know that I have been working for a software startup, KaiNexus, as we announced in June, in addition to my writing, consulting and speaking work. It's been a busy and exciting year!
Our co-founder and CEO, Greg Jacobson MD, produced this new video – in a format called an “explainer video” – that discusses the problem that our KaiNexus software solves and how our approach helps “make improvement easier(tm)” for healthcare organizations. Here is our story, in three minutes:
If you'd like to learn more, you can check out our KaiNexus product page or you can register here to receive a link to a 4-minute demo video (although we have a new demo coming soon, as we've recently improved our user interface). We've also just updated our KaiNexus company website, as well. We have a News page, where announcements include the signing of our first paying customer, Centra Health, in Virginia (they are using KaiNexus in addition to our existing “beta” customers). We also have our first official consulting partner, in Rule 4 Consulting.
Thanks for following our progress! If YouTube is blocked at your organization, it's possible that you might be able to view the video via this page on Vimeo.com.
We are making progress and iterating as quickly as we can with our software and our business model, doing our best to follow “lean startup” principles – learning from our customers and learning as much as we can, as quickly as we can. We've gotten a lot of great feedback and ideas from our customers and from those organizations who decided to not move forward with KaiNexus.
